I am a bit upset to put a nice within the posting rules response to how mad I am at the moment. You see I lost my cell phone at work. As a Nurse I looked for it and then assumed that it went into that magical world of Hospital laundry. So being the procrastinator I am and hoping it would turn up. I did nothing about it. So I finally tonight decided to look at other phones and log into ATT and find that I have an 800 dollar bill and someone has used my phone to call France and Israel etc.... So I try and report my phone stolen and the web site won't let me.

The billionaire financier George Soros, a major Democratic financial backer, is floating his own rescue plan among Democratic lawmakers who are uncertain what to do in the wake of a surprise defeat of a proposed $700 billion rescue package proposed by Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson.
Soros has outlined his plan in an opinion editorial in the Financial Times and circulated a concept paper among decision-makers.
With the media showing the train wreck that has been the hiding of Gov. Palin. According to the Liberal paper the Wall street journal the top Campaign aids are off to Arizona to try and retool before thursdays debate. The question is will the be able to predict what kind of questions Gwen will ask to a degree that it will not come off as coached. Biden has his own liabilities to contend with and debating a women is IMHO harder than a man.

Update:
OLBERMANN: Now, as promised, a special comment on the remarks of the senior senator from Arizona about Senator Obama at the VFW convention and about NBC News and MSNBC.
I have two dells and both have so many bugs etc.. I am really looking at Mac...
I don't use the computer for much more than Internet stuff and basic word processing for papers and school.. Anyone have an Idea on what I should buy? I might play a few games but not a hard core gamer so most of the high dollar stuff is out...
I am looking hard at the IMac.. http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/shop_mac/family/imac?mco=MTE3MDM
Any idea which one is best for the money... Any ideas or other options much appreciated..
Thanks Da....
Flip Flop? Posted without comment... :)
I do wonder is the media giving them both to much of a free
ride. And what would and how would an ad like this play to low
info voters?
I am not a good judge of the internal dynamics of the Area of Interest... Josh seems to believe that this is a failure.. One we should look at with that in mind... Secularism failed to Identity politics...
Does anyone who has much more than my cursory view agree with Josh on this? I tend to believe in self determination... Still the region went through a bad time and the wounds are fresh and separation might be the best of the future.. I might be wrong but was this a true country or a soviet construct? I do understand his view that people need to live together and choice reconciliation to violence. That is IMHO the real thing lost but maybe trade and time will do that as separate states... The E.U. is the super state of the future in that area and maybe in the end that will be the coming together...
Message from the Commander in Chief
Dear compatriots:
Last Friday, February 15, I promised you that in my next reflection I would deal with an issue of interest to many compatriots. Thus, this now is rather a message.
The moment has come to nominate and elect the State Council, its President, its Vice-[url=http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/americas/02/19/castro.letter/index.html]Presidents and Secretary.
For many years I have occupied the honorable position of President. On February 15, 1976 the Socialist Constitution was approved with the free, direct and secret vote of over 95% of the people with the right to cast a vote. The first National Assembly was established on December 2nd that same year; this elected the State Council and its presidency. Before that, I had been a Prime Minister for almost 18 years. I always had the necessary prerogatives to carry forward the revolutionary work with the support of the overwhelming majority of the people.
I having read a thread last night I had not read caught some conversation on who is not here anymore and honestly as a per scoop Kos poster almost none of the top 1000 people post often. That is on a site that is the largest of all politic blogs of any type.
Still In my mind we have lost more old time conservatives than liberals but we still see less and less of some names. Life does interfere in all hobbies.. And to be honest this is a hobby. In fact one that my wife at this point in life would care less if I spent less time on it. As interested in politics and world affairs this is the only place that seems to have people that are at least somewhat as interested in those topics.(And not one sided) My career field is outside of most political issues and most of my friends do not have the desire to talk on a level that we discuss here.(It is at time aggravating to discuss issues with people not informed at least to a degree) The ones that do are busy with there own lives and such is the void that the Forvm fills. Still I like this site because it is intimate and even as the personalities change we maintain a good group.
